Compton, Calif. - In conjunction with the 90th Anniversary Celebration of Compton College, the Tartar football team will host Pasadena City College for its annual Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.
Saturday's game also marks the American Metro League opener for the Tartars (0-4) and Lancers (1-3). Pregame and halftime entertainment features Compton Unified School District high school bands from Compton, Dominguez, and Centennial.
Prior to the game, fans are invited to take part in the 90th Anniversary festivities including a car show, live music, food trucks, vendors and a kid zone. The Homecoming festival will take place from 11-5 p.m. on the Compton College campus. Admission is free to the festival.
Ticket prices to the football game are $8 for adults; $5 for senior citizens and faculty/staff with ID; $3 for students with valid ID; and free for Compton College students with valid ASB sticker and children 12 and under.
